    i have a problem with my 1986 toyoa pickup4x4..was running fine,let a buddy borrow it, he shut it off to run his dog,went to leave wouldnt start,no head lights no dash lights no nothhing.has a new starter,battery. Is there a fuseable link im missing..any advise is greatly appricated.

    Locking Tailgate & Gas Cap and extra bed D-rings
    An unhealthy battery or charging system will definately keep a battery from recharging. The most common cause of what you described is battery post or terminal lug corrosion. Loose or corroded ground connections will also cause the same symptoms.
