    I had a Crosstrek before my Tacoma. Honestly it had zero issues in the 50k miles I put on it (from the shop floor). Easiest DIY oil changes ever and very capable in snow, even with ATs. Not great on power though, and I believe if you want an MT you'll need to get the bottom (2.0L trim). I've heard the new 2.5L is a bit peppier.
