I've been doing mini-mod weekends at my house for the last three weeks. Slowly pulling all of the stuff off of her. Leaving the suspension and hood for last. We'll have a bbq and pull all that off. I have the huge box with all the support packing that the hood came in. So when you come up and grab it, you can just throw it in there and haul it back home with no problems at all. Thanks bro

The mod list is long and distinguished already. Total chaos +2 long travel SUA rear, supercharger, etc.

I've discovered over the last year that I too cannot own a 2x4 truckfor what I use it for.

    nice mods.

i can’t own a 2wd truck with hunting, and with getting the little bit of snow we get, because they don’t know how to clear roads. also have to be able to get to western NY in the winter to see family if i need to or want to.

i can’t wait till i can get a full(good no spacers or 5100’s) 3” lift, thinking maybe full fox shocks or kings.

A good 3" lift makes a huge difference. I wish I could get the TRD offroad in a long bed double cab. Full fox or Kings might be alittle overkill for what it sounds like you use it for.

Just a bunch of old crap
Just let me know. I finally have a full size spare but I can't mount it until I get a tire rack. I don't blame you for keeping it though, but if you do end up parting with it I'm ready whenever.

Keep me posted on your mod days, too. Happy to help any way I can to return the favor.

I will. Keep an eye out for them, I think I paid less than 80 bucks for that thing.

I'll post up when I do the suspension take off of the old truck and of course when I get the new one as well.

    Thanks Adam

Yeah you got it cheap. I've been on the lookout for one but it's about double that, plus shipping. A swing-away is the ultimate goal but $$$

It will be nice to do it twice.

I'd love to go back and fix all the things that I did with out really thinking it through. Maybe in 2015.

Thats really what this is all about. I bought a 2x4 pre runner and dropped a lot of cash in it. Then realized I needed a 4x4. All of the information I have learned on here and from the local members will help in me building the new 4x4. Realisitcally as much as I have used it in the past year, i may not even go with a costly set up. I now know how and how often I really use my truck.

That's what I did between my 06 and 09. Nice having a practice truck. Lol

Jason. I want your wheels.. lol wish they matches my truck better. Not sure if bronze would go with white. Lol can't wait for your new build man. Congrats!

Check out some white ones with the bronze wheels on here. It looks pretty good. I have a complete set of 5 (full bronze spare). Only 15000 miles on them. They are up for grabs like everything else. I am doing pictures tonight and posting on AZ classified.
