I currently have a 2022 Tacoma Limited in Midnight Black. The A-pillar on the doors are painted and starting to notice faint scratches from closing the door. Wondering if anyone in the community knows of a vendor that sells a pre-cut paint protection film (not a vinyl decal or sticker).

The term A pillar, is for the post on each side of the windshield, going from the roof line to the fender, down to the rocker, including the hinge area.

Is this what your are referring to, or do you mean the rear vertical portion of the front door from the belt moulding (where you would rest your arm if the window was down), to the roof line area of the door where the window closes to, and the front area of the rear door, vertical from the belt moulding to the roof line area on the door?

If this is the case, they make protective matte black applique's that go over those areas on the doors. Ski

Sorry for not being clear. I attached a picture of what I thought was called the A-pillar, highlighted in yellow.

On the Limited models, the area highlighted in yellow is painted to match the truck body. When I go to close the door, I end up grabbing the highlighted area and started to notice scratches. Was looking a clear paint protection film that is pre-cut to match that area to prevent future scratches.Screenshot 2024-10-08 193731.jpg

thats B and C pillars, your best bet is to stop by a local PPF installer and either buy some to DIY or have them do it for you. I'd be leery of the quality of any of the Amazon stuff. xpel may sell those but I think their kit is the full upper door, weather strip and up.
