Yes ,yes it is. If you have to use this tired old argument you just don't get the allure of the PRO.

I will never trade a vehicle in again. They looked at my Jeep and offered 26500. I wanted a Tacoma but I had about 7K in aftermarket stuff on my Jeep. It took me 2 weeks to sell it using Carguru and Craigslist. I got 35500 for it. It was nice to buy my truck and immediately order rims, leather, lift and tires. Still had enough left over for a new AR.

I love the pro, problem is it's mostly plastic aesthetics. :( I like the aesthetics but that's expensive plastic.

Don't discount car max. 2 years ago my 2013 trd sport 4x4 was offered at 29500. about 18k on the odometer. the dealer then gave me that price...

Old news. When anything new comes out, the demand is high and the dealers react in kind.
It was just a matter of time before the price dropped. Patience is a virtue as my parents say.

It would be cheaper to pull all your aftermarket accessories and resell them. As you said all the stuff you added to your Taco will never be recouped when your truck is sold.
The reason why the FOX suspension is good on the PRO is because Toyota worked with FOX to tune it. The shocks you bought was never tuned specifically for your truck, it was made more to fit your Tacoma.
