    Greetings all,
I'm looking to get rid of the stock stereo system and replace it with new. Looking for something with Ipod and Bluetooth capabilities. what about speakers? Any thoughts?

I have two Pioneer headunits and haven't done speakers yet. So, I will give my two cents on the headunits.

One has Apple Carplay (AVH-4100NEX, current model is AVH-4200NEX) and the other is bluetooth with Siri eyes free (AVH-X2800BS). They both work very well. It just depends on what you want the unit to do. Carplay gives you access to some of your apps on your phone and you can use Siri to do things. The X2800BS has Siri eyes free so you can still talk to Siri, but you can't use your map app and have it show on the unit's screen.

I have the Carplay unit in the vehicle I drive by myself because it let's me do many things hands free from my phone. The X2800BS is in our tripping car and since I have a navigator (wifey), she also tends the phone if needed. Also, the price is a difference. AVH-4200NEX is $599 after $100 rebate at Crutchfield currently. AVH-X2800BS is $299. So consider your budget also.
