Looking for a shift boot modification

not sure if anyone has done this, if they have i would like some pointers. i have no idea why, i really like the old style "accordian" looking shift boots. i was going to try and fit one of those to the truck, but i have no idea how to make it look oem. i would need to find a universal boot i guess that fits the opening and go from there, but i figured i would see if anyone on here has done that sort of modification already. ideally, i would like it so that if i wanted, i could put it back the way it was originally too. asking a lot i know lol
