Looking for a shop to rebuild my 3RZ

Hey everyone,

I just inherited a 95’ Tacoma, 2.7, 4x4 with 250k miles and I've got some major rod knock.

I found a few JDM engines local but I am leaning towards a motor rebuild.

Can anyone recommend a good shop in the So-Cal area? I live in Whittier but I can have AAA tow it anywhere within 200 miles.

I called Squirrel Concepts in LB, and YotaMasters, but unfortunately they couldn’t help me.

The shop doesn't need to be cheap, just looking for someone I can trust. Any help is appreciated.

 

Rpm garage in Monvrovia works primarily on Toyotas. Also a shop called Toyopros in Azusa, ca works soley on yotas. Get a rebuild kit from LCengeneering

There is also revolution engines in Ontario, but you'd need your engine pulled already. It's an engine only shop.

 

There’s simply Toyota in Redlands I’ve had them do timing belts and such on my rig and I trust them. in NorCal there’s yota1

 

Any recommendations for a shop in the OC area?
