Hi everyone. Starting to get sunny again and I need a sunshade for the new taco. I would like something like a Covercraft shade:

    https://www.cjponyparts.com/covercr...ra-mount-toyota-tacoma-2016-2018/p/UV11426SV/

They all seem to go out of there way to make sure they say that they fit models "without" a gopro camera mount. Does anyone know of a good quality sunshade that is made to work "with" the gopro mount?

    Thanks in advance.

I dont mean to be a smart ass like so many of the fine folks on here, but as close as the GoPro mount is to the top, I would just cut a slit in the visor to slide over the mount.

So I did think about just cutting into it to make work, but I hate the thought of practicing my origami on a new $50+ sunshade..... It is still an option if there isn't a better alternative. I also thought that over time it might start unravel-ling.

I have the same shade and the fit is great. I have the GoPro mount that came with the truck but no GoPro camera/attachments on it right now. I'm guessing that's what they meant since the 3rd gens come standard with the mount (I may be wrong though).

Well, I just read the description and I guess you're right about them referring to the "stock GoPro camera mount" which is kind of dumb since it's almost flush against the windshield. The bigger issue is with the 2018 and not being flush against the windshield because of the TSS camera. It's not a big deal because it still fits great but it would have been nice to see them make the additional trim for 2018+ models.
