i i don’t know of anyone braking axels. braking them has ALLOT to do with power and tire size. allot of people don’t realize how much impact on them is really is.

X2. Our friend's rhino has bigger and wider tires and they change the ride completely. They even lost about 10 mph when at full speed and the ride is more rough. I would recommend staying with stock tire size.

Kinda. ha I have Billy 5100's all the way around and set at 1.75 in front. And I got the TSB in the back, but that has settled quite a bit unfortunately. Thanks! :)

Welcome. And okay. I'm wanting that small lift look without the whole lift part. Haha

The more I think about it though, the more sense it would make to just buy and old beat up 4x4 truck for thousands less than a UTV.... Around here I'd be paying 5-6 grand for a used rhino. I could get an old blazer or bronco or samurai, trail ready for 1-3 grand. :notsure:

it’s really up to you man. we all like 4 wheeling so that one reason we got it other is for yard work. and having that is one reason why i have not done anything to my truck yet. other is money.

Good point, but a UTV is more compact and could go more places. If you got an older used 4x4, you would still have to upgrade it a little to do what a rhino could do so you might as well get a UTV unless you really would want a 4x4 with putting upgrades into it that would end up being as expensive as a used rhino.

I actually think the rhino's and most four wheelers are the same width. Am too lazy to look it up though ha. I've never flipped either, knock on wood, been closer to flipping a rhino though. Yup I've been on quads since I was 10, and we do a quad ride every year on different routes where we ride between 100-200 miles. Pretty much same story ha.

I know that a ranger or rhino isn't much narrower than an old samurai or toyota pre-coma...

yeah. they are kinda close 95% of atvs are (stock) 50” or not even. rhino is stock 58. if you put wheel spacers on it would bake it even wider. i have flipped atvs a few times. maybe because i’m balls to the wall the hole time(i am on rhino as well) but when i hit the brakes i lock them up than right back on the gas.

Rangers are quite a bit wider than rhinos. Theyre 3 seaters, don't think there are two seaters, but I'm not positve about that.
Rhino's are 54" according to this
    http://utvguide.net/utv_comparison.htm

Even so, you are correct, rhinos are a bit wider than quads.

The Rhino is the most reliable UTV out there. You can do a few mods to speed it up quit a bit.
    Here is mine.

We are picking up a used Mule 610 today with a plow. We will not be bawling around in it. It will be for plowing the driveway and for putting around our 10 acres doing yard work.
