This all depends on what is your ultimate goal here …. Are u planning serious off roading or mall crawling ? .. with the new design u can put bigger tires on it without a lift ..if it’s just for looks .

It’s for both. I want the aesthetic and practicality.

The question is why do you want to do what you said? The ultimate purpose for your vision will determine the best route to get there. Way too many variables without a clear vision.

Get a 2.5” lift either Fox or King shocks both front and rear. Set of 35’s (lucky no CMC or CMR needed), nice set of Method or Race Relation Wheels and call it good.

    Yeah.
I'd call Accutune and see what they have to say about current and upcoming options. Being that the rear is now a coil spring, the options for a rear lift are different than previous gens. If you really want quality, you may need to wait a little for more options to be released.

I am getting a new 2024 Off-Road. But will the 1-1.5" spacer lift on the front coil-overs affect the warranty?

Will do. Does it make most sense to upgrade stock wheel/tires once I’ve locked down a lift kit?

I've heard Wescott spacer lifts ride terrible on 3rd gens. Couldn't tell you about 4th gen ride quality. I'd be on the hunt for a proper shock/coil over lift. Accutune as others have mentioned. :mudding:

Black paint looks really good on 4th gens.

What’s a ballpark cost estimate for this type of setup?

    Yeah.
Disclaimer: I don't own a '24 and can only go on what I've read, but I think you can fit bigger wheels and tires on the stock suspension. But I'd just do it all at once, personally. I did suspension first, then got bigger tires, but I couldn't fit bigger tires until I did the suspension.

Accutune should have good info on both suspension and what wheels/tires will work, and they will tune shocks and coilovers for your intended use and vehicle mods/additional weight. I'm super happy with what they recommended, and my truck now rides like a dream both on and off road.

    Yeah.
For top of the line, about $6k for full suspension (including UCA's) and then whatever wheels and tires you want. That is just parts. So budget about $8k. You can work your way down from that by choosing different options.

Remember, modifying, could very well diminish your vehicle's trade-in value. Dealers want stock stuff.

Toyota is coming out with a TRD lift for it that is not out yet. It will be Bilstien shocks, but don't know the specs. From the limited info on it, looks like 2.5 shocks, springs all the way around, and upper control arms. It wont void your warranty and dealers cant whine that it isn't stock when time to trade in.

And all spacer collar lifts are garbage no matter who makes them.

Its the design principle of it, theres no way for it to not suck.

All it does is squish your spring to raise the truck, changing the spring rate to HARSH. And then they add a spacer to the top of the shock to lift the truck some more whilst reducing up travel.

It's a good way to break your shocks while off road and a dumb way to spend your money.

Really warm toward the OEM lift. Any whispers on when this will be available?

Who spends 8k on a suspension lift? All I hear on the news is how poor everyone but the 1% is. I make a nice income and I’m very conservative on the add ons for my vehicles. Even on my past R8 and 911’s, I only did the exhaust, less than 1.5g. I even offered my 911 to sharkwerkz so they could make an install video for a nice discount. I’m frugal so it’s just shocking to me that middle America would even consider 1/5th-1/6th the cost of the Tacoma for a suspension lift.

    Yeah.
Apparently lots of people here on TW spend that much and more. I did, but only after I mostly used up the OEM stuff. I consider myself frugal, but I consider going with top quality on some things to be a frugal decision.

Again, that's the top end and includes wheels and tires, which is ~$2K on its own. A full set of quality remote reservoir coilovers/rear shocks, new UCA's, new leaf springs, and bump stops isn't cheap. You can do something worthwhile for a lot less, save money by sticking with stock wheels, etc. R8's and 911's are a completely different class of vehicle and don't really need much, although I am sure you could spend a bundle on those if you wanted to.
