Looking for an '04 4x4 single cab front skid plate replacement

    I took off the old one and was going to sand and paint it, but its pretty badly rusted. I'm not having much luck even finding the part on the Toyota parts websites - i think theyre calling it the engine splash guard?

    anyone know of a place to get one thats not that expensive? its not for offroading either, just to protect the front of the underside.

    Yeah, it's called a splash guard.

    Best bet is a junk yard.

    Though you might get lucky with a member here who's upgrading to an aftermarket skidplate. Just keep an eye out in the buy/sell/trade forum.
