My friend, I feel your tight garage pain every time I pull in mine.
When I was house shopping, one of my non-negotiable things was a two car garage.
    It didn't happen...

    Stock and staying that way
Is your truck a long bed? I have to leave the tailgate down for my Specialized to fit.

We're in the same boat. I scraped the front fender flare on my shelves the first week. At that point, I painted a guide mark on the floor.

Ours is a two car, but it is 3ft smaller in each direction than listed on the county data. It was supposed to be about a 1ft bigger than our old place. The funny part is that the house had about 300sf more than was listed.

Next time, three car garage and a smaller house! I need project space.

Me? If so, yes. I have an LB. The fatty and the old Cannondale F600 fit with the TG closed. I haven't had my Trek 8000 LT in yet. I have been slacking on getting a new set of brakes for it. The original master cylinders needed rebuild kits, but the company quit making them.

Edit: I just found the specs for my 8000 LT. I don't know what frame size that I have, but for the largest frame (XL), the wheelbase is 43.9in, plus 26in and 2 x 2.1in tires, I would be really close. 74.1in. Just turning the head a bit will have that fitting well.

Can't you just move the front wheel closer to one side of the bed, angle the fork, and get the tailgate closed with the bike at a diagonal in the truck bed?

You could do what I did, convery a bike rack and bolt it to the bed.

If you can fit your rear wheel against the front of the bed, turn your front wheel and close the tailgate, then you should not have a problem. (I do not know if there are spots to bolt to under the bed like to a subframe for 3rd gens or 2nd gens.)
