looking for a bed rack idea for a 2nd gen Tacoma 6,2 bed. But I want to have it sit high so I can attach my kayaks and have them clear the roof. Then put my camping gear in the bed. And free up my back seat. Because as of right now the kayaks are in the bed taking up all the room.

Search for the bed rack thread and hold on to your panties. There's at least 10 different racks that will fit your needs.
