Yeah, they're usually not anywhere near Kansas. The one I found for trade was in Iowa

If you see one in the middle of the country let me know!

If your link above is to the FB market place post for the black 2003 DC Tacoma, that is a scam, has been reported to FB, Offer UP and Craigslist, repeatedly.

Not sure why it didn’t post the actual link. It was a post from IL with a guy selling multiple caps for older trucks 1995-2005 I believe. Looked like there was some Tacoma tops. Def saw an imperial jade access cab cap with a roof rack

You can try what I did… saw an add on Craigslist for a truck with the shell and I just messaged and asked if he wanted to sell it separate from the truck. He said no, but I said you have my number if you change your mind. A couple days later he called and asked if I still wanted it because he got beat up on the price, so he sold it minus the shell.

Any interest in a dcsb snugtop XTR? Located in Tucson. I’m too big to sleep in the bed no matter how I try to fit, so I’m just giving up on that dream haha.

Lunar mist and in good shape minus some paint scratches/chips here and there. Fold down/pass through window on the front end.

Double bulb seal is in good shape and it was water tight while on my unlined bed. Have all the J hooks to mount so no clumsy clamps.

Struts are on there way out, but those aren’t hard to source. They work great in hot weather, struggle in the cold.

I have at least 1 key for sure, I think I can find the second. I’ll have to look around.

When I first got it back in 2019 on my old truck
    F341BFA1-B0DA-466F-88D4-B949F52E67DD.jpg

Last pic I had on hand from about 5months back. Only difference is painted the crossbars black and added some stickers
    907F803E-3D34-4D85-939F-B72928446F61.jpg

I’m gonna post a more offical add on the BST in a few days, but wanted to give y’all a crack at it since I know the struggle trying to find shells for these trucks, especially this one. Took me 4 years and a day trip to LA to get this one

I'm selling my DCSB 2018 SnugTop soon as well. My spray in bedliner is too thick and the j hook mounting system won't work right with it.

Really need a shell with those "clumsy" clamps and no fiberglass lip around the inside of the bed.

I have some rci clamps if you want them. I can check to see if they fit my snugtop. They should be able to clear everything

My SnugTop clamps straight through fiberglass instead of an aluminum section. So only the j hooks work with it.

You sure you couldn’t just clamp over it? I mocked them up on mine and it looks like they could totally work with some longer bolts to get more thread engagement.

Mine normally mounts exactly how yours does except my j hook holes are riveted on rather than molded in

It would work but my other issue is the fiberglass lip is simply too close to the bed due to thickly applied Line-x. So it's constantly rubbing fiberglass dust everywhere. I prefer using those style clamps when the shell has an aluminum mounting base. Not to mention the dealer that sold this SnugTop in 2018 dealt with tons of leak problems after sale with the previous owner and now it's just leaking from the windows again. Which soaks the fiberglass lip and will cause damage over time.

Just not impressed with it over my 2003 ARE and someone is going to get a deal if they like projects.

FYI that I have a regular cab shell in jade green in Kansas. Glass is all good, clear coat is gone, needs shocks, lock, and a bit of work, but great restoration candidate. PM me if this may work for you.
