When you say “this is what I have” are you talking about OEM or Rhino? If Rhino, how was the install experience? I haven’t been able to find much on installing them. Wasn’t sure if they came with gaskets like the OEM or used silicone like the Prinsu (and others).

Rhino. I have the product that was linked in the comment I quoted.

I didn’t do the install, had a local shop do it since this was back in 2017 and there wasn’t a lot out on install. The shop I used hadn’t done a 3rd gen Tacoma yet.

It does come with a gasket, here is the install sheet for that which may help you: https://assets.rhinorack.com/Instructions/Parts/FittingApplications/QMFK08.pdf

This is the write up I did at the time:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rhino-rack-installed.470338/

If I was doing this today I’d install it myself, but for $150 the week I bought the truck with limited information out at the time, I let them install it so there was some kind of warranty support if needed.

I use a Yakima Skyline rack with Yakima Jay Low kayak holders on the cab. Connects to the fixed anchor points in the roof. Works great. Easily handles two 45 lb kayaks.
