Okay if this is a serious inquiry...

Open up a PayPal credit. They usually have interest free purchase for 12-24 months.

But really, if you suck at your finances, please be careful. I can’t add anything else on what others have warned / stated.

Agree - use a credit card for rewards, which means paying the balance before you pay interest, or else youre paying for your rewards and making the bank rich.

Think of it this way, at 21% apr, typical cc interest, your 7k in mods is going to cost you 12-14k in the end, or more, if you make minimum payments, and thats if you dont keep using it as you pay it down.
I keep a 4wp card and discount tire card, often get nice rebates or other discounts, plus the no interest period. Gotta pay that crap off before you pay interest on tho, or else its just another card you used to pay more for something than you needed to.

@Huha change jobs and go to Wells Fargo. Open accounts in customers names and use said credit to finance your purchases.

Oh, wait. That already happened didn’t it?

Max it out and then call that company that says, "don't let the credit card companies trick you into thinking you have to pay it all off".

'Cause this is 'Merca. Heaven forbid we have to pay back all that we borrowed on someone else's dime.

SAVE the money first. Get a card with cash back. Pay the card all way off and be done with it.
Speaking from first hand know how youll prob sell the truck before you pay the card off if you don't.
CC debt is the worse thing I ever did in my life.

7k doesn't buy much these days. You should aim for 15-20k if you really want to do it right.

    Go big or go home.

I've been looking at other cards and it seems so far like the best deals are for traveling which I don't really do at the moment. My thought process was that if I was gonna spend a large amount, I might as well use a credit card and get some of the bonus money back and then pay it off.

Seriously man, don't listen to all these haters.

If you don't like my above gun buy advice, think of these other options:
Disney card. Take that sick truck down to Florida and live it up.
Brotherhood of Magicians Credit Card. Get some really awesome magical stuff.
Hello Kitty card. You'll want to show that off everywhere you go, and get discounts on Kitty gear.
NASA credit card. OK, reward points not so cool, but it's the same card astronauts use!

As Nike used to say before they didn't, Just Do It!

I use my chase card on any purchase over $100 or so. It’s only 1 percent cash back but it ads up over a year. I’m going to use my points to get $125 off my lift.

I don’t even know what my cc interest rate is, because I pay it off as soon as the charges process.

I used Affirm 6 months no interest on State 48, nice for the Mobtown swingaway so I don't have to pay everything up front.

I'm not even gonna read post in this thread.

If you are going into CC debt to mod your truck, you are an idiot.

Those mods will get you pennies on the dollar when you need to sell...and if you are that bad with understanding how CC's work, you are gonna need to sell that truck soon.

Be smart. You have one of the best vehicles with the best trade-in value out there. Don't screw yourself by adding CC debt.
