Looking for Dog bite resistant covering

I like the burlap idea. It would hold water but I think it would dry faster than cotton.

"Bite resistant", not "bit prevention".

Lots of people have already commented on prevention but that's not my intent. My dogs loves chasing things so I let them chase the rc car.if I didn't want them to bit it i would keep them on a leash or leave them home all together.

Above all, I don't want my dogs injured. PVC isn't exactly hard but give. What I'm seeing, covering it with something soft seems ideal.

 

I don't know if I've ever held a fire hose but I imagine it would be perfect! Any idea where I can pick up some scrap?

 

ask at the local firehouse what they do with their old hose (assuming they get changed out frequently, could you imagine a ruptured firehose under pressure)

We used that over foam pool noodles for robot bumpers. Pretty decent stuff.

 

Absolutely beautiful Mal. How old is she? My girl worked for me for about 8 years just as my family’s protector. She wasn’t a monster but she definitely was a devil if you didn’t keep in line and caused the family a problem. Even after I quit bite work with her she kept an eye on things. At the age of 16 she had a stroke and I buried her outside my window. I still miss her and that’s probably why she hasn’t been replaced. The malinois breed is my favorite of all time.

Yeah you have your hands full. Lol she will come around be patient with her and you will be rewarded. Who knows perhaps as the kids leave home I will make a home for another one.

 

exactly!! They take a lot more time than I expected so I don’t sleep much. Going to school as well, but she makes it worth it. Joke among my classmates is how much I hate her and how I am always trying to get rid of her!!

I had one look at me two weeks in and go, “you will never get rid of her! You love her too much and it’s obvious”
