Idk but 20k miles is a lot. And there are no signs of it ripping either (I looked yesterday)

Yeah I agree. They're probably okay for those that don't rock crawl though. Lifetime warranty so why not.

Yeah but do you guys daily your SAS Tacoma? Most people that SAS do not. It's literally my daily driver. Meaning I go to work with it, to the store, etc. It's truly a daily.

Yep, I do. The last 3 month, I put on more than 4k miles. And of those 4k miles, about half of it are through gnarly terrain than most won't even consider driving through.

Nope, no built thread. But if you want to know, I'm running 4wu 3 link front and 4wu 3 link rear with Fox Factory DSC 2.5x14 front and rear. 70" Diamond axles with 9.5 centered on both, hellfire knuckles and full float rear. 40s with beadlock and triple transfer case. Supercharged, 7th injector, and meth injection.

Yes, I did all the work myself in my 25x30x15 full blown backyard shop.

I want to do something simple like use the trailgear axle with coils and probably won't go over 35's.

I drive mine more than your average SA guys for sure but definitely not 4k+ miles in 3 months but around 2k miles in 3 months. Mine is registered and road legal as well and I drive it to and from the trail. I can't afford a trailer or tow pig

Why TG rock assualt axles, they're just as pricey as other brands. And I think they look like crap based on the pumpkin face and tube designed at the ball but that's just me.

I've done every single hard trail in Socal with 33's and IFS, and I don't take bypasses. Imagine the things I could do with 35's and a straight axle lol.

What do you suggest? I was looking at the TG just because it's Tacoma width and it seems they're easy to obtain, plus they have parts on hand for it.

Agree. From a price point perspective, they're not much apart. But folks go with them because they're the most complete kit and the builder don't have to do any leg work.

    TG $8300 for fully assembled
TG $9k for almost everthing minus a some missing parts

    Crazy

Diamond will provide a fully assembled axle (any width you want) or you can assemble yourself. There's ruffstuff, there's rockjock, dynatrac, and more. Be creative and built your own axle with different parts, that will get the most out of your money.
