    @Taco70usa
    My studs finally made it in today.
    Cut the first 12 down to just over 6mm longer than OEM.
    Used an angle grinder and Lenox cutoff wheel. Took about an hour and a half. Nothing to it.

    @Airborne22
    I'm going with the Venomrex slim spline lugs, since I already have them. I'll likely replace them somewhere down the line with some Gorilla lifetime lugs. Plenty of room in these wheels for some lugs with more beef.

    @WyoRoadDog - Thanks for confirming my measurements.

    EDIT TO NOTE: Because someone is going to wonder... The discoloration is not heat related. It's cold bluing I did after the cuts, because I'm OCD like that...

    I tried to stay between 46 1/2 - 47mm from the shoulder to end of the threads, for an overall gain of 6 1/2 -7mm of thread and an additional 4 1/2 revolutions of thread engagement.

    I'll keep 6 open end lug nuts in my gear bag in case this is too much thread for OEM lugs, in the event of needing to use the spare.

    I had the tire shop replace my studs when they mount led tires. When I picked it up I found 3 of the new studs in the box with the old studs.

    Took the wheel off and found the 3 studs that don’t match. The shop guys claim they don’t know what studs they put on there. Looks like dorman 610-414.

    If the knurl diameter they used is 14.38mm am I gonna need a new hub?

    how do they not know which studs they put on there? They had to have some way of knowing which ones to use!
    My guess, and I’m not an expert, is that you’ll probably be fine, but you wouldn’t be able to use a stock knurl size stud again without replacing the hub. Forcing the oversized ones in there would make the tolerance too loose for stock.
    I would definitely check to make sure they were actually able to seat the studs fully if they were that size, and check they didn’t warp anything getting them in.

    ^ X2 .

    .007 on a knurled fit shouldn't be a problem.
    As mentioned, make sure they're flush and get them to finish the job.

    I understand what you are saying, but I am only a middle man. I am not the owner of the business. As I am presented with information, I am passing it on. I get messages DAILY from people who are interested. So the folks that are looking at these wheels are seeing the best deals that I can present. If you are not interested, simply pass on by.

    The lug situation on these and the limited thread grip has me sketched out on buying these. Dont want to replace studs for some wheels.

    The studs are short on these trucks for some reason. If you read through this thread, you will see that normally it would be fixed by using ET lugs, but the way these wheels are manufactured, they do not allow for the use of them. I will be getting some longer studs here shortly.

    @woollypullover did you end up installing the Dorman studs? I have these mounted to some 285s/70r17, but dont want to install them until I put on some extended studs. Hoping I can find some that i dont have to cut
