Are the plain acorn style lugs making a good seat on these wheels without the extra "seat" that goes into the lug holes? I've always thought the tacoma's are required to have the mag style to get a good seat? Attached a picture since that description probably wasnt helpful
Been looking at bolting the bronze ones on when I start mods on my 17' but havent committed yet

The Venomrex web page states you can use the factory (mag style) lugs with these wheels. This is false. The wheels are absolutely designed for acorn (conical) lugs.

Standard length lugs get you about 5 revolutions on the stud. The XL lugs you've pictured above, get you better than eight.

Anyone decide to go the route with the discounted price wheels and have success in ordering them from Airborne? I'm a bit hesitant, no offense at all, hope it is legit

Yeah, i just ordered them. He has the vendor contact you via e-mail. My wheels came in a few days ago, waiting for the tires to come in and then I'll have them mounted. Definitely recommend giving Airborne a chat, was super helpful and got me a significant discount on the wheels.

I ordered a set last week (though not through Airborne22's awesome deal), and should have them mounted up next week. I have Vorsteiners on another car, and know lots of other folks who do as well. No complaints ever that I have heard of.

So, for those that do not know...

Venomrex is made by Vorsteiner. Vorsteiner is a well-known manufacturer of wheels for luxury and high-performance sport vehicles. They have been in the business for a long time and their flow-forged technology produces lighter, stronger wheels than conventional construction methods.

Wheels went on today. I'm stoked on the wheel, and they look amazing IMO. I've got some pretty significant rubbing with 265/70/17 though, which surprised me.

Just attached mine as well. The rubbing surprised me, although it's not too bad. Gonna probably do a small trim job tomorrow.

Just got them mounted, I'm heading out to Bishop for the weekend, so I'll post pics of that soon! They look so good, can't stop smiling. My girlfriend keeps making fun of me and saying, "I wish you looked at me the way you look at your truck."
