So another question....going with the OME kit is there any reason for me to redo the brake lines? Also some are saying they are running the same lift with new UCA's and others are not. Is that just because the ones that are just personally preferred to get new ones or is it recommended to get new ones?

UCAs recommended but not required for any lift above 2.5". Aftermarket UCAs will allow you to get a better alignment and are said to improve drivability. Not sure about the brake lines. I know for just an AAL you don't need to do anything but I'm not sure what you should do if you were to get a whole new leaf pack.

You won't need to extend brake lines.

If you're going to be flexing your suspension I'd recommend extended brake lines.

OME shocks are designed not to droop beyond what the stock brake lines can handle. If you don't go beyond 3" and use OME shocks you will be fine.

I went with 884's and Dakars for a 2" lift in front and 2.75" in rear. I wanted to keep the front lift to 2" to avoid higher CV angles, alignment issues, and the need for new UCA's.

Not needed. OME and an AAL won't have the articulation to stretch stock lines.

Does the 285/70/17 rub at all?

He'll yeah! You'll need some trimming and a cab mount chop.

Well....it looks like this lift might be happening a little sooner than I was planning. An old lady totally scraped her bumber all the way from my rear wheel across rear and front door. Luckily the scratch is in the rock guard area along the bottom of the truck and after a little buffing and a can of matching spray paint from E&M I am repaired and good to go. Oh and the $1400 the old lady had to pay me for the damages.
