I need to replace my lower control arms. I went to the dealer and they quoted me about $590 for each, NOT including labor. While speaking to the guy, I mentioned that I could get acdelco LCAs for a fraction of the cost at rockauto. He said that I will be better off sticking with genuine Toyota because of the tolerances involved with suspension components. If I replace them myself, I could literally save well over a $1000. I am sure the dealer reps are told to not endorse any other brand besides Toyota, so I'm looking to get some opinions/feedback on using the acdelco LCAs vs genuine Toyota.

    Thanks!

PS, I put both LCA and "lower control arms" in the title since I figure at least one person out there that could help might not know the difference...that shit happens to me all the time.
