My 2013 2.7 seems to be almost straining, or lugging most all the time. I'd like to try it, for a while, with the torque converter disconnected. Unlocking the converter will add appx. 300 to 400 rpm. & should help the eng. run free'r. Moving the shifter from OD to 3rd, both shifts to 3rd & unlocks the converter, appx. 700 to 800 rpm., that's more than I want. I've found I can ease the brake pedal till the brake lights come on, & the converter will unlock, but that also disconnects the electric accelerator pedal, so that won't work. Thinking there should be a plug, connector, or fuse, that will let everything run as normal, except the locking torque converter won't lock. Any help would be great.
