I have used one of these for the last couple years for fueling the boat at the dock. Just thought to go back yesterday and leave a positive Amazon review I'm so pleased with it. It's a great unit.

I'll just toss in that I'm fairly happy with my Rotopax. I'm not saying the problems don't exist, but I've been using mine for a few years now and have had no issues. It does bloat a bit on hot days, but I also make sure to keep it vented too - as per the instructions. The only reason I went with Rotopax is because it fits the space on the side of my bedrack perfectly. It's not like I could put j-cans up there. Even Pelican cases are too big, imo. So, they allow me to use the space.

If I were doing a swingout I'd go with cans.

Thanks. Yeah, it gets me around

Looking at that older pic it kind of makes me miss the old stock bumper. I think the stock bumpers look best imo. :tinfoilhat:

If you have to vent it, it's sucking in moist outside air and leaving water condensed in the bottom of the can.

The Jerry cans are designed so they can be stacked on top of each. This is how I fill my trucks using that pump.

Harbor Freight has nice, metal Jerry cans. $40. Less if you have a coupon.

I went with the Wavian cans and they have been good to me. Just make sure that whatever you go with fits in the mount. I don’t believe the harbor freight ones will fit.

One of my buddy’s swears by these:
    https://deutscheoptik.com/20-liter-jerry-can-single-can.html
I can’t say either way having no personal experience, but the price seems right.

Wavian is also a little more manageable and maneuverable while filling. Damn near indestructible. I have mine in two smittybilt cages $30each I think? I did wrap my cans in gorilla tape where they touch the cage to prevent further paint damage. And mine are in the sun all the time so the tops are faded unfortunately. But I love them. I wouldn’t buy roto just because of the price, price of proprietary stuff. Their locks are crap, etc. my buddy had roto everything and enjoys my cans More. Go figure. Good luck

It says in the listing that the are "Not for Fuel Use"??? So, is this even an option at this point?

Yes ,if you are reading the thread and you actually want advise. They are the same can. They have to label them that way when selling without a spout. The spout is what makes them EPA.

They are "midwest" brand at the store near me. Seemed decent enough for the weekend warrior, but I prefer the feel of my wavian cans. Seem a bit more stout.

Can you post a picture of that? I was about to have a friend weld me up a metal cage with that exact concept.
