    Hi Tacoma world,

Looking to upgrade my suspension in the next month or so. Looking to spend about $1000 on suspension since I want to save some money for tires and other upgrades.

Been looking at the old man emu and Eibach kits since they seem simpler to install and meets my budget. I've also read a lot about the Bilstein 6112s and 5160 setups and understand that its within budget as well. I'm wanting to add a leaf package as well to ensure my truck can handle the consistent weight for the daily driver.

    What I'm wanting:

-At least 2 inch lift front and back.
-I don't mind the taco lean I just don't want my front pointing to the sky when the back is fully loaded.
-Some off-roading nothing like rock climbing just fire roads and some trails here in California.
-I'll be adding a truck bed rack, front bumper, winch and maybe some skid plates which will be a daily driver.
-When camping I'll have roughly 200lbs of gear

I hear you. The packages Iam looking at for suspension lifts are 2500-4K which is out of my price range. You are smart to do rear leaf spring upgrade for suspension lift. IMO it’s the best way to do a lift vs a body lift.

take into account the extra weight you will be adding with front bumper and winch. You are better off buying once crying once. Right ? At least that’s what Iam considering.

Have you looked into Teraflex , KYB or Rancho. They are less than the Fox and King suspension kits. From the intel Iam gathering they had decent reviews but still unsure about those brands …

I'm running the Teraflex shocks (Haul/Tow version with adjuster in the rear), Icon AALs, and Eibach 650 +1" coils for grand total around $1700 . Its been a year and no problems so far.
