Sorry you had problems with your vinyl! I finally figured out how to install them (wet method is super easy), and they have been better than I could have imagined. Make sure it's either warm out or your wheels are warm- definitely helps with the adhesion.

    Cavalry Blue represent!

Now just need the SR5 grill frame. (chrome sucks!)

I plastidipped my stock offroad wheels black. TRD center wheel caps coming in the mail. I like the look of them when blacked out.

@rowbaretow those look nice. I was thinking of going that route but I was concerned how durable it may be.

I will be finding out. But I mean people have been plasti dipping their wheels for a long time now. Everyone I have spoken to that has done it right has nothing bad to say really. Probably need a touch up once ever 2 years or so I assume. Not a big deal to me as I like to change things often when they get stale.

A major plus is I can undo this at any time with minimal effort and the wheels be back stock in mint condition.

Agreed, them wheels don’t look too bad painted.

I see those are 265/75-16 KO2s. No lift? No rubbing?

You see correct. No lift and No rubbing.

I did not want a lift because of the shake issues I have heard about. Also more stress on the drivetrain and other components. My goal for my truck is to keep it as practical but capable as possible. Tacoma's last forever because of their engineering. Why change that? Lifting your truck does not increase your ground clearance. It allows for larger tires that then increase ground clearance. Having a lower center of gravity is always best for ride and control. So I went with the largest tire I could fit. These tires are 1in larger than stock. One more step up to 33's requires a special wheel offset, a lift, trimming, or control arms. Too much money and effort for me to just have .5 inches more ground clearance over my current set up. Anything larger than 33's I think look overkill on the Tacoma. 32's are just fine for me.

When my suspension goes and my truck is 15 years old I will put a big lift and fat tires on it. I don't want to over mod a vehicle I am making payments on and drive daily to work.

I am practicality over appearance any day.

Just some things to think about.

I had these on my 2012, I love the look, thought of putting them on my 2019 pro. They'd look bomb on a white truck.
