Pull the fuse you are tapping. Use a multi meter to check both sides. With the key on only one side should have +12v. On the add a fuse the blade that is closest to the end goes into that side. If you flip it you actually bypass the new extra fuse.

I finally received them and installed today. I was actually surprised …. Each had 2 blade fuse slots. One to protect the original and one to protect the new circuit.

2 ACC circuits are enough for me, but I suspect one could tap into any of the fuses in the panel this way to add another.

You want to be careful not to tap into anything that might be sensitive to electrical noise. You don't want feedback from the new accessory screwing up something else.

So what are some examples that shouldn't be tapped into?

So far I've run a few things off add a fuses. For buttons that are oem style for accessory lighting I actually tapped the taillight fuse that way when my lights are on and the dash illuminates the added buttons do also. Cig lighter was tapped for my additional add a usb.
