looking for info on lift kits

Anyone have a how to and a one stop page for info about lift kits. I am interested in doing a lift but I have never done one before and do not know much about it, I came here as a start to learn about how to do it as well as knowing all the facts before making any bad decisions. I am just starting a new thread to get straight forward info on lifts and lift kits. Hopefully if there is some good info (and pictures), this could help people in the future.
