Looking for input on my new/used TRD FJ wheels

    So I just picked up a set of TRD FJ wheels last night. They are pretty dinged up and I want to paint them black (like TT black). I have plasti-dipped my TRD OR wheels and like results.

    So here is my delima:

    Can I plasti-dip the rims on and expect to be able mount my tires without ruining the dip? I plan to move the offroad tires over to the new wheels.

    I have also thought about just rattle canning them satin black, will that hold up to a tire-dismount activity?

    I called around for a couple of powdercoating quotes and it is out of my price range. My quotes are around 80-90 dollars per wheel with them sandblasting the wheels down.


    Also, anyone know if I can use my existing OR lugnuts with these FJ wheels?
