Hi Guys! I am brand new here and hoping I can get some expert advice :) I came over from the "dark side" LOL, having owned a 2012 Jeep Wrangler JKU since new. After spending THOUSANDS of dollars and two years of my life trying to figure out a mystery electrical issue, I finally gave up. I received absolutely no help from Jeep (the manufacturer) or any dealers and ended up trading in my pristine, immaculate "dream" Jeep with only 44K miles. I bought a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport with 22K miles. Loooooooong story short, I was getting ready to completely upgrade the JKU and I have a ton of parts that I now need to sell or repurpose... The best option I have for the wheels is to exchange my new/uninstalled Dirty Life DTs (Dual Tek beadlock and street wheels) (with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern for the Jeep) in for the same wheels with correct (6x139.7) bolt pattern for the Tacoma. (which I have been told is my only option other than trying to sell them at a loss on FB or ebay.)

My question is.... Is anyone runny Dirty Life DT1s on a 3rd gen Tacoma? If so, what mods did you need to make? Seems very strange that no one is running these wheels and I'm wondering why?

When I bought my 2020 Tacoma, it had a 2 inch "lift" (front and back "leveling kit"), and whoever traded it in put back on the original wheels and tires (after clearly having had bigger ones on). It looks ridiculous and rides like shit and needs to be changed ASAP!:annoyed:

I have read these forums and watched YT videos until I am voodoo blue in the face LOL and I can't seem to get any clear answers as to whether these Dirty Life DT1 wheels (17x9 with -12 offset and 4.53 backspacing) will work without a CMC. Also, I can't seem to completely understand the negative ramifications of doing a CMC so any insight on that would be much appreciated! My tires will be MT Baja Boss A/T in 285/70/17. Since the wheels can be converted to beadlock, they are pretty heavy (44 lbs with the plastic ring and heavier with the beadlock ring) so wondering if that will cause issues on stock suspension, gears, etc?

Thanks guys :) I am really enjoying not having a "me too" vehicle anymore and hope to get some help from the experts here! :)
