    Working on it ...
Ok, so here is the deal ... I traded in my 2002 TRD Off Road for a new 2019 TRD Sport. I went Sport over OR for the following reason:

I put on about 2500 miles a month on my truck and don’t get off road even close to the good old days. I opted for a bit more creature comfort sort of truck. But when/if I do any snow or off road, I wanted some that could.

So now that I have owned my truck for a little over a month and really enjoy it, but feel it could use a little bump in the height department.

    I was thinking of:

A.) putting on 2 inch levelers in the front and 1 inch in the rear as I do drive it as my daily driver and many times I have a load or pulling something, So having a little rake is probably something I would still need.

    B.) going to 285/70/17 tires.

C.) going Bilstein 5100 shocks all the way around.

I would most likely have to do this in stages As I am not a millionaire and also can’t keep the truck off the road for any extended period of time. Would do the levelers first and the tires/shocks later as what I have now (stock) are brand new after all.

Being that this is my daily driver and I do work the truck things like MPG and ride Do play somewhat in to the equation.

Am I looking at this all wrong?
Any opinions, suggestions, options etc. are welcome. Thank you in advance to you all.

I had 285/70/17 Wildpeaks with a 2” leveling kit on my 2017 TRD Sport and got about 15mpg driving like a grandma.

I went with the Icon Stage-3 suspension, kept the stock wheels, and went with the Toyo MT's 285/75/16's....she turned out fantastic!

I’m beginning to like the look of the stock wheels and thinking about throwing them back on!

The stock wheels really aren't that bad at all...and keeping them will save you some money on the front end, and they look great with the tires and suspension I went with.

Holy crap! That’s a big hit in the fuel consumption @ 15 MPG. Right now, all stock configuration with 17” wheels I’m averaging around 21 MPG.
