Looking for Midrise Camper Shell

Been on the hunt for just over 6 months and have not really found anything.

Title kinda says it all, I am in search of a midrise shell (Leer 180, ARE MX, Snugtop Hi-Liner) that has vented windoors and would prefer carpet liner but is not a deal breaker if it does not have it. I know it is pretty hard to come by a shell that specific but just going to shoot my shot on here to see if anyone is interested in selling their shell. It is difficult for me to pull the trigger on a new one.

I am located in Arizona but am willing to drive a state away if needed (depending on the price). I do not really care about the color match or not.

Keep your eye on certain pest control companies. A location near me was literally giving them away

 

Will keep an eye out. Been looking on all of the normal places like FB Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist and haven't found anything. Will add this to the list. Thanks.

I’m looking for the same thing. For a 3rd gen long bed. Will travel anywhere along the east coast.

 

The struggle....I have found a few a state away but by the time I am able to make it out there they are sold.

 

Orkin. That’s who had them. Metal ARE, I believe. Literally… get them off the property. I should have taken a pic but didn’t. Good luck in the hunt! My advice is buy the clamps; find the clamps. Be ready!

 

Did not know they were local. I am trying to look for a nice Leer 180 with vented windoors but I will stop by there this weekend to see what they have. Thanks again.

 

It may or may not be “nice” but you can handle it. You may have to get handy with a hammer and dolly; don’t know.

 

Terminix literally had a brand new commercial snugtop leftover and they were like come and get it but I had work and three days later it was gone. If you don’t mind white or silver, contact the pest control companies.

 

a midrise shell? That is so surprising they are just handing them away. I am happy to carpet it myself and am fine with a mismatched color. The biggest thing I want is the vented Windoors. But lets find out today I will give both of them a call after work.

 

Same here minus the east coast. I'm in the Midwest, though, there was a nice silver ARE MX in NC that I was really really tempted to make an offer on. Just a tad too far..

 

if you want to drive to California, there is a used shell business near San Jose that usually has a pretty good inventory of used shells. He buys and sells alot of tacoma shells because there is a market. i bought mine from him. it won' be a $400 deal, but seems like he gets some midrises every mow and then.

 

I am willing to drive to California. I have found a few there on facebook marketplace but by the time I am able to make it out there on the weekend they get sold. Do you have a name or phone number? If you do not want to out the guy you can shoot me a PM.
