Thanks for the reply rock, im just trying to figure out a cost effective solution to gaining more hp on my supercharged 2011 Tacoma.
I had thought the route of a 2.55 pulley, map ecu3 and a fuel upgrade kit and 7th injector was a bit too expensive...
really im looking at adding around 50 more hp without going broke....

I have so far added a TRD supercharger, Afe cold air intake, new 2.85 pulley, new fuel pump, new Doug Thorley shorty headers, Jba y pipe, New exhaust.
    I'm maybe pushing 325 hp....
In hindsight, get a v8 tundra.

I have the 2.85 pulley that I am waiting to install to get a little more power. Any of the pulleys smaller start requiring an entire chain of modifications and expenses that is rather not do. Others have listed what else you can do for more power above, you just need to watch your AF ratio so you don't go lean.

These trucks will never be as fast as a sporty car. But there are 2 sides to the speed equation, the other being shed weight. Pre-runners weighing hundreds of pounds less will have a serious advantage for street speed. I don't see specs on your truck, but it doesn't look like you have anything extreme on there. You could also look at running light wheels with light P-load tires if you don't wheel in anything harsh as rotational weight will have a much bigger impact than static weight.

I don't think off the line is the larger issue. With an empty bed it just ends up burning the tires and leaving stripes and tires are too expensive for that plus I don't need all that drama (I am running ATs, not street tires which play into the traction issue).

It is rolling speed where I think it could use the most improvement, especially at freeway speeds where the supercharger seems to run out of steam.

I would love to see a video or hear a sound clip of what your truck is like now. I've been considering doing similar mods and would like to know what it's going to sound like

I have a couple videos with a very similar setup:

    AFE Stage 2
    TRD s/c
    2.8 pulley
    URD fuel pump
    URD Spec-U
2.25" custom high clearance Y into..
    3" into a Borla and Aero 3030xl

So you decided on the spec u headers instead of the jbas that you talked about earlier and you went with a custom y pipe instead of the Doug thorleys. Do you think it was worth it?

Have you gotten it dyno'd or are you just guessing 325?

sorry.. idk how I missed this.

Yeah.. went with the URD headers and a custom Y.

now... this is all butt dyno talk.. but.. Power band feels to be wider. Pulling from freeway speeds is fantastic. I did the custom Y because I wanted to gain clearance and was having them do my exhaust anyways (mufflers, dumped, etc) so had them make a Y. was cheaper thats for sure.

the current setup as of today (just had my Aero swapped out for a Magnaflow to tame it down some) is perfect IMO. power, sound.. both are great.

That's awesome, I was just asking because there's another thread where the guy has a 2.5 pulley and the dyno says he's only pushing 312

interesting. what else does he have? does he have the injectors and tune for that pulley?

If I were to guess.. I would like to think I'm at least around the 320-330 mark..

I just need to find a dyno shop that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. or maybe hold out for the next dyno day..

It's kind of depressing how much work you have to do to a V6 Tacoma in order to give it 300+ horsepower Haha
