A new butterfly is made because when a TB is bored out the old butterfly no longer seals correctly since it's actual oval instead of round. Its par for the course on any TB bore job but I had the little extra done by having a new throttle shaft machined (what the butterfly is screwed into) in order to reduce air turbulence over it

I’m curious about the pink top injectors on the 8 port head. Your ‘98 should’ve had the injectors with just 2 jets per injector like mine. Each jet sprays down a single port on the 8 port head. The pink injectors are a 12x multi jet spray each injector.

Any noticeable mileage change with these?

No noticable difference in the city mileage category (which is 90% of my daily driving)

Regretfully I can't tell you if the highway miles are affected because when i rebuilt the transmission I used a kit that had a defective 5th gear synchro so I can't comfortably get up to highway speed
