Busted my mirror on the trail yesterday.. Been Looking online at mirror options and I am seriously considering tow mirrors, but reviews seem mixed on the ones I have seen for sale. Primarily Amazon options and Carid which all look like the same Chinese make. Is there a better quality tow mirror available?

Don't have an answer for you, but I'm replying so I can get the same information. I'm also looking for tow mirror options lol

I have these Amazon mirrors. I ran them for quite a few years with no complaints about functionality. My only complaint is the slightly ridiculous size of them. I think the oem mirrors look better.

I have my OEM mirror you can have if you pay shipping on it. It's the non turn-signal one.

I replaced my stock mirrors with SpotterMirrors and have been very happy with them so far. They eliminate the usual blindspot and are adequate for towing a ~6' x 12' cargo trailer. Search TW forums for other mentions & experiences with SpotterMirrors, they have been around for quite some time. They must be doing something right since they make aftermarket mirrors for at least 15 different major american, european, and asian makes, and hundreds of different car/truck models.

My Taco is mostly a daily driver, but in occasional bumpy forest-road & trails the SpotterMirrors have had no problems at all. They do not vibrate excessively on-trail, nor have they ever been "knocked loose" or jarred out of alignment.

Where are you located? I need to drive from Knoxville TN to Panama City FL next week. If its reasonably on the way I could swing by on the way there or on the way home if you are willing and able.

On my 2010 DC I had the Dodge conversion similar to the Autosavers but with integrated turn signal. They were invaluable towing travel trailer and boat from NOLA to Seattle. Both trips the mirrors earned their worth backing and helping in tight spots. Going to get the 2023 fitted up.

They pivot up for towing, retains mirror control in both positions.

I have those aftermarket towing mirrors. They are fine, big, but fine and really helped when I was pulling my 7ft wide camper, I'm not sure how well they would help on a 8ft. They also seem pretty durable, I've hit them on the side of my garage multiple times and the garage came out worse.

 You’re not the only one hitting the garage with those towing mirrors.
