There is a small difference in the frame horns. The earlier ones were a bit longer in the front, but can be adapted with ease.

The old curse of the 98-00 frame :( Treat yourself to an aftermarket bumper - problem solved

Yeah I was thinking you could get a parts truck and break even after parting it out down to the frame.

Find a roll over from a western state and have it shipped. The last time I bought an out of state project truck, it cost me $650 for shipping.

The U-Pull it in Beaumont TX had a '98 (?) last year. They're cheap but I think the rear springs are different length for 98....if it even is 98.....and if you have a later......Call them if you want to and are willing to travel. Frame was about all that was left. Access Cab.

Pretty much your just gonna want a Extended cab frame in general . Any year will work but all 3 cab configurations are different . And between the transmissions the only difference is the tranny mount crossmember . Frame horns are slighty different on 98-00 models but they make adapters that you weld on to fix that . The rear is the same except 98+ have leaf spring mounts that are more spaced out and the gas filler neck is slightly different on mounting . Picture is my 97 on a 2001 frame
