    i have billy 5100s on stock coils and a toytec AAL. my billys are set at the top setting and the rear is a good bit taller than the front. What kind of OME coils would you guys recommend to get it leveled back out? im also trying to avoid uca's and diff drop.

    The 881's will only net him around 2", which will be lower than the 5100's 2.5" setting.

    If you want to level out the front with a 2" AAL I would look at 3" Eibach coils, they should give you 3/4 - 1" more lift over your current set-up.

    Your point is well-taken, though my 881s provided about 2.5" of lift. I think one of the factors to consider is how "shot" the OP's current coils are...

    Eibachs would certainly provide more lift, as would OME 882s (since his original request for an OME option).

    Well I thought I read on here that eibachs were getting hard to find? The truck has about 110k so I'm sure they sag a bit but they aren't terrible. Would I need to do anything else for that much lift?

    Yeah I got over 2" from my 881's as well, however, I don't expect to retain that extra lift as the coils continue to "break-in".

    OME 882's would be an option, I think since the OP isn't running a plate bumper I'd just run the 881 coil with a top plate spacer to get approx. 3".

    Plus, I remember reading that the Eibachs have a really high coil rate (>600 lb) which would lead to a rougher ride.

    Diff drop, maybe UCA's. There are tons of guys running 3" up front, check out Box Rocket's build. I believe he has 882's, with 10mm spacer for 3" of lift.

    OME 881: These are made from 16mm wire, have a free height of 375mm, and have a 500lb rate.

    When you say these you mean any coil made by ome? Can I look at the eibachs at that same site?

    The thickness of the coil isn't particularly important in this situation, I just paraphrased Wheelers description of the OME coil from their site. The height and coil rate is what you want to be looking at. Wheelers only sells OME coils, not Eibachs, you can check them out here: DSM sells all the OME stuff, they just dont have it on their website. They are a Preferred Vendor on TW so you can just PM them, I talked to Marco and he got me all set up.

    I think most people buy the Eibachs from Toytec:

    Eibachs are back on order at Toyotech. They were on backorder for like 3 months i think. Now they are good to go. Order directly from them tho. I think Eibachs are the way too go too IMO

    i wanted to bring this back cause im ordering the eibachs tonight. this is the last amount of money that i wanna spend on mods in quite a while so i wanted to verify that i wont need anything else (i.e. diff drop, ucas). simply because im low on funds due to the economy and i just wont do it if im gonna need other stuff.

    Shoulda invested in the Diff drop kit. Only like what..20-30bucks?? And it could save your CVs...which are pretty pricey to fix..
