Don`t know about Vermint but here they use liquid brine and it gets in every place.

Salt water would be kinder to the truck.

My uncle stopped by again today to drop my wheels off, and I had him go into my garage so I could check his frame out. There were no rust holes at all, and he even had the factory stickers on the bottom of his LCAs still. This truck is pretty damn clean for being an 06. BUT, I did find something rather strange. This was done by some sort of air chisel or similar, I asked him about it and he had no clue it was even there. Soooo, dealers that need money doing it on purpose for the labor hours or???

Same thing here, just started doing it recently too, it REALLY shows in new cars, they're rusting really fast if unprotected

hmm, maybe that was the test, maybe if the air chisel breaks through the frame too far then that's how they know it needs replacing
