I've got a 3in lift and currently have stock size 245/75r16 BFG AT's on oem black Baja rims, 7x16 +30 offset. I'm intrigued on running 235/85r16 Grabber ATX'S What are people's thoughts, it's not a daily driver, it sees minimal offer road, it'll spend far more time plowing snow then playing in the mud or rocks in 4 wheel drive. It's my primary personal vehicle but I have a company work truck Mon-Fri and some Sat's but the yota is used outside of work hours.

With plowing you want traction and gearing, every tire size bigger you lose a small amount of torque. I think 235/85R16 is the only bigger size I'd consider for your truck, its the right choice.

235/85/16 on those OE wheels will be fine. I've been running the Grabber ATX for a while now and they are a great tire.

No experience with the generals, but have experience with that size. Running Toyo AT3's. Have about 30,000 miles on them on a 2015 4cyl 5speed. First think I noticed is at 40psi they wondered all over the road, found running 37psi was much better. Little rougher ride but worth it to not having to worry about flats all the time. Will replace with same size and tire when needed
