I am looking for a referral to a good painter in Portand Oregon. What is important is someone who is careful in the re & re process and not break plastic tabs and brackets. I am planning to get the fender flares, bumpers and grille from my new 2012 painted.

You might want to put your location in the post title so local people see it easier...

Never had anything painted myself but I have a buddy who has always used Artistic auto body in tigard. They have a few other locations as well: http://www.artistic-autobody.com/

He liked them because they stand behind their work, in both quality of paint and workmanship. 100% guaranteed so if it doesnt come out right they do it until you're happy.

Just curious, what color is your truck, and what color are you painting your flares/bumper?

I bought Spruce Mica. I will give that shop a call. Anyone I should ask for?

I dont have any names, sorry! I know if I had something to paint, I'd inquire first about their policies and philosophies, then ask about a specific job. I'm curious how much they could charge to turn my ugly chrome grille into a nice color-matched one...
