I’m so confused. op posted WTB but provided the phone number to Lasernut(who IIRC cut all pelfreys stuff anyway?)

This is another reason to never post your phone number on a public forum.

 

Better yet. Goggle search even links to his personal business Facebook page and his gmail name matches his TW screen name.

 

Yea I saw the 512 number I was texting and the 517 number for the OP and in my haste just confused the 2. 100% my mistake. I’ll own it.

The number I was texting that was looking to copy the skids was pipeworx.

 

Sorry, I saw a screen shot from tubb that had Lasernut post and thought it was the same number in the orIginal post. It’s early and I need more red bull. I will refrain from posting more until OP can chime in and get the real story

 

OP is free and clear. It was my mistake. I texted directly out of the PM email notification and just failed to read.

but is it really that bad to take their design considering what they did? I’m honestly asking and haven’t processed the idea of how it would make me feel.

There’s a lot of people that I am sure would be glad to be able to get the skids they ordered for just cost of materials.

 

I can careless what ( well known ) members think or are saying about this post. Obviously this was a mixup. I’m clearly not a fabricator.
But for the moderators / admins. Your response is childish / unprofessional.
Whether it’s a mix up or not, your actions go a long way.

 

I feel badly about this situation and wish we all knew earlier on that the phone numbers didn’t match.

This all could have been avoided with a little more investigation into the situation.

If there is in fact a person who is actually trying to get the CAD files from @tubbsisland for the pelfreybilt skids to be able to profit off of them, then that is shady. And it seems as though that person is still watching this thread

 

I think everyone's been on edge lately. The overall temperature of the site changed drastically when a trusted vendor and valued member shit the bed. I think people were too quick to jump the gun here. It happens more often than not, unfortunately. I'm no different. I 'liked' both of those posts (as can be seen by the HUGE screenshots posted by OP) because I though justice was being handed down. Turns out the original allegation was wrong and corrections were made and posts were deleted. Probably best if we all move along now.
