Looking for pre-runner style bumper

    2.5" leveling kit 31.5 mastercraft A/T Double din radio Two 12 inch rockford fosgate punches
    Wanting a pre-runner style bumper to achieve maximum clearence without having to instal a huge lift. Anybody have any good but cheap brand names or maybe a DIYS bumper kit.

    trail gear is probably your best bet as far as price goes

    What's the durability like on the trail gears? My bumpers are rusted through and the cost has me intrigued... Also a rear bumper with a wrap around would be nice after someone swiped the bedside and didn't leave me a love note

    i don't have first hand experience, but ive heard good things.

    as far as rust - make sure you thoroughly clean, prep, and put a few good coats of paint on it and it shouldnt rust through.

    my old TJM bumper was powder coated and rusted to hell. i think for my next bumper i'll just paint it myself.

    Anybody have any idea on how hard it actually is to mount an aftermarket bumper to the 98-00 tacoma front end? ive herd it was a pain

    pretty sure its very easy. two frame rails in front.
