Looking for a garnish from a Pro Grille, that doesn't work with the safety sense.

Are you talking about the chrome trim piece?

No, it's the square piece that fits into the center section of the grille.

Ah, gotcha. Was unsure of the term. Thought I could help since I have a couple of regular grills in the garage. Good luck.

Parsley is a pretty solid option for a garnish. Classic, yet tasteful. Oh wait....

Hes looking for the honeycomb trap door, not the glossy piece for the '18s. I think calling it "garnish" is confusing people because the garnish is the glossy piece meant for 2018 grills. This is what I believe he's looking for. Unfortunately there is no real part number for this, you can see if someone in this thread posted is willing to sell you theirs: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trd-pro-grille-for-140.519248/page-189#post-17209463 and if not I can see if I can find mine and possibly sell it to you. PM me when you get a chance as a reminder and I can look for it and come up with a price. The upper tabs will look slightly melted off as that how the non OEM ones were put on (slightly melted on but you can use internal lock tooth washers like pictured below to hold them in place.

No, it is not. Take a look at the picture I posted of what's circled vs what's X'd which explains what hes looking for. What you posted sir is the garnish piece for 2018 grills that have the safety sensors. There are two types of things that fit that trap door. The garnish piece that you posted and the plastic honeycomb piece. I'll post this picture again so you can see the difference. Garnish (glossy piece) is needed for 2018 vehicle. But you can use an OEM 2018 grill and put on the plastic honeycomb piece with the holes in it instead since ‘16 - ‘17 model year Tacoma’s don't have the sensors and don’t need the official glossy garnish. The tricky part is people have to try to source the honeycomb plastic garnish from an ‘18 owner on here that bout a non OEM grill that came with it as they are likely tossing them to the side and replacing it with a glossy garnish meant for the sensor. The plastic honeycomb non sensor style garnish for 16-17 cannot be purchased, not even from a dealer. So you don’t want to be stuck getting a great deal on an ‘18 grill for your 16-$17 truck that comes with a hole, and ending up spending another $50+ for the glossy garnish you DONT need.

Yup, speaking from experience. I've handled all of these items and worked with them.
