Hi guys, I am looking for a new radiator for my 2000 Tacoma 3.4 4x4.
Anyways, I found that my core depth is 20-3/4" and ordered a Spectra CU1774 on Amazon. The radiator that came was 26.5" wide and I found that my current radiator happens to be an even 26" wide, so the bolt holes and everything didn't line up. I have been looking around auto parts stores and online it says some are 25.5" wide. I don't know why but everywhere I look I cannot find a 26" wide, 20-3/4" core depth radiator for a Tacoma. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I guess a 25.5 might fit but I may have to drill new holes? This is my first post but thanks in advance everyone.

Nope. All the radiator, even with different core size, will fit and use same factory location and mounting hardware.

I'm not sure about the V6 but I just installed a CU 1775 for my 2.7L. The length of the radiator is 22-5/8" - As far as I my guess the widths will vary but the four mounting holes will line up for your replacement radiator.

I initially had a similar issue with the holes not lining up. Turns out, the hooks on the radiator are not accurate and mess up the alignment. I simply bent one of the hooks (driver's side) away, hooked just the passenger side hook, and proceed to start each of the four bolts.

I sent back the radiator I originally had and purchased a Murray radiator from O’reilly’s. Part #431374. As stated above I had to bend the hook on one side and the rest of the bolts lined up.
