I'm planning a trip with some friends this July to Durango. I've been hunting around for some nearby trails, but I'm not finding a whole lot of info. I'm looking for some scenic trails that are on the easy to moderate side. We all have 4x4s, but not everyone is comfortable with the more difficult trails. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Check out Missionary Ridge Road, Bolam Pass, Hotel Draw, La Plata Canyon. All easy and scenic.

If you get to Durango going south then west, take the drive over the million-dollar highway up to Ouray and do the alpine loop and Yankee Boy Basin. Or, go out 70 to Grand Junction, then south and spend a day or two in Ouray before continuing to Durango. Solicit some opinion on the difficulty of the loop regarding skill and mods. I think it is very doable with mild lift and entry to mid off-road experience.
