Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
The Tacoma didn't come out till '95. If it's not a typo what you have is a Toyota pick-up.

I'm not sure I'd be keen on buying a rebuilt motor without knowing and trusting who did the work

Guessing it has the 3.0 and blew a headgasket

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I'd find something newer with a 3.4 V6 or a truck with the 22RE over that pile of 3.0 V6 any day. Those things are a bit of a temperamental nightmare and are known for head gasket issues big time. Not to mention they're as gutless as a 4 cylinder with the gas mileage of a big block Chevy, at least with the 22RE it's gutless and decent on gas with virtually no big problems except weak plastic timing chain guides that are known to wear through over time but can easily be replaced with metal ones. 1990 would've been a Hilux, not Tacoma.

Its amazing on how much money people post those those older pickups for even if it has 200-300K on, blows my mind. Theres a guy near me that wants $2500 man GTFO for one thats been pissed and shit on by rats doesnt run chewed up wires fucked up interior running on spare tires and 270K miles. Ive been looking for a decent deal for awhile, and OP dont give in to the fucktards that try to sell there old ass crap for its weight in gold anything that has over 200K miles and is close to 30 years old is a $1500 vehicle in my eyes, maybe 3 thousand if its nice and a crate engine, another thing thats over looked on these trucks is the steering im willing to bet it has idler and pitman arms about to fall off, holy shit am I ranting.... I need a drink.

Same on the engine rebuild not being a good selling point. Was stalking a 97 with a rebuilt engine on CL when I was looking for a new 4x4. Ended up buying another but got into a conversation with the seller of the truck with the rebuilt engine and he told me he bought it from a place by me. After looking up the place on yelp I'm so glad I didn't buy it. They had all negative reviews.

Gotta have more info and if he's asking $5600 throw out $4000 and see what he says. I agree that the market in these trucks is often (not always) artificially inflated. If people want to wait a year to sell their truck than so be it, but if they want money then they may listen to an offer that covers whatever expense they're looking to cover.

I love the fact on a engine just rebuilt it has 6 New Spark Plugs !!

    Worth another $1000.00 right there

It says nothing of the bottom end ?? Just left out by mistake

New oil pan from the big hole when the rod left go??

It just doesn`t sound right a 1990 Tacoma is just the frosting on the cake .

Up graded Suspension ?? Tell us what most likely they have no clue other then it is not stock.

A Toyota person would list just what it was who it was made by

Sounds like they bought the truck did what was needed to get it running now it is being flipped

Awesome guys thank you. I was thinking something was a bit suspect. I'm not a gear head or a Toyota expert but I know enough from just being a layman truck owner that this was too expensive for what it is. And I was pretty sure to be leery of a rebuild especially when I have no idea of who did the work.

Thanks for all your comments i'll read them thoroughly, and most likely pass on this listing

is it a private seller or a Dealership selling it? if its a dealer you should get some kind of warranty arrangement with it

I'd pass. Maybe if it had lower miles but you can start to find first gen Tacomas at that price.
