I have been thinking about getting a 3rd gen Taco (double cab) but my legs are a little cramped in the cockpit, has anyone extended the front seat on the 3rd gen yet?

    Yep, it's called "Tundra".

Personally, if I was thinking a vehicle was too small after a test drive I'd nix the consideration for that particular vehicle right then and there. Comfort is the first hing you'll notice and arguable one of the most important. I wouldn't go compromising and shoehorn myself into a vehicle simply because I live in the city. Also, since you're in a big city now, do you still actually need a truck, or do you just like having one? I'd go with what my priorities are and what I needed a truck for and be honest with myself about wants and needs, but that's just my opinion. Let us know what you end up doing

    Get a Prius.

No need to try and stuff 10lbs of poop into a 5lb bag.
