I bought the ARB OME BP-51 suspension kit with heavy duty leaf springs, coil over shims that add an inch to the front coilovers, Sumo spring bump stops for the front and back, and Camburg Kinetic Series upper control arms. I'm looking for someone in Washington state that has experience installing these components. Most of the shops won't install them if they were not bought through them. I tried installing the front suspension myself but got confused and there is not any good instructions or YouTube videos to go off of. I have all the tools, jacks, and stands to do the job. Let me know!

Find a good mechanic who works for a shop and see if he will do it on "the side/his free time"??

If you have all the tools and some basic knowledge on how to use them, you should be able to do yourself. There are many videos on YouTube. I dove into myself and finished it in a weekend with the help of a buddy. I have to admit there were points where I was about to give up, but my buddy gave me the support I needed. :)

I have the tools, but I got both tires off and the sway bars disconnected then one video looked like it skipped a bunch of steps, then another video was using a short cut. It was starting to rain a bit so I got frustrated and panicked and put it all back together. I'm gonna give it one more shot before I pay someone.

My first lift install I was a bit overthinking the process and thought it had to be harder than it actually was. There are some secrets that make the job way easier. All in all I have a suspension lift install down to about 4 hours by myself. Give or take depending on the beer intake. That lift isnt any different than any other so when you youtube it dont depend on searching for that exact lift install. You can search any 3" mid travel set up for the 3rd gen tacoma. If you have any questions fell free to pm me.

    •remove skid plate
    •mark cambolt positions
    •jack and block
•loosen the LCA cambolts (you’ll need an alignment when you’re done anyway)
    •remove the lower knuckle bolts
    •swing LCA down
•coilover comes down and out, easy peasy

    •break rear U bolts free
•jack up frame ‘til rear hangs
    •block it
•put the jack under rear diff
•adjust it up/down to remove shocks then springs

    no sweat, you got it.

If your coilovers are assembled already, it is pretty easy. If not, this method is lower energy and safe. Be sure to have an alignment scheduled before you go at it:
