The shop that sold them credited me full value kept the warranty set and I got different arms.

If tire clearance isn't an issue, then I definitely recommend JBA over SPC. Zero camber can be obtained with JBA or others.

Most people have no choice but to run SPC, usually for tire clearance.

I moved up to long travel or I’d still be running them. I used them for 45k miles with zero issues. I was really happy with them and used them for rock crawling and trail running on 35s without issues. In my experience I haven’t personally seen them fail but the videos I have seen of them failing, is usually “midtravel” with the preload spring maxed out. Meaning there’s no down travel because the ball joint is at full articulation at ride height, and when lower outside tire wall makes heavy contact with a boulder it creates the leverage to dislodge the ball joint from the socket. If the ball joint is not at full articulation (not maxed out ride height) and impact is made to the lower outside wall of the tire it will deflect up which will start to center the ball joint in its socket eliminating the possibility of it being leveraged out at a heavy angle.
I’m no brand ambassador I’m just stating my personal experience with the control arms and how I have seen them used.

Also have to consider installation and maintenance. They come sealed and without a zerk fitting now. But before they would come with a zerk, you had to grease at install and religiously after that.

    Agreed.
I called spc on that because I was buying replacement ball joints, the guy stated the only difference is the non zerk ball joints come with a thicker different grease packed in, and when they don’t have that grease they send out ball joints with zerk fittings and regular grease. Which to me seems kind of sus because I have grease that came out of the shaft hole of the boot. So I requested specifically to get another set zerk fittings and they said no problem.
